Come to the compost for beginners workshop and we will answer all of these questions and more. We will cover all of the basics and explain the difference between the options, what can go in the compost, how to balance the carbon and nitrogen and what to do if it gets stinky.

We realise that lots of people living close to the city just don’t have much space to have a regular composting solution so we have some great ideas for managing your food scraps when space is a premium.
We will show you different options, walk you through what can and can’t be used for each and help you decide on the best solution for your home. We even have some low budget options that you can make yourself if cash supply is restricted.

Would you like to know how to master the art of composting or become a compost champion?
Have you got a compost system that is established at home? Is it working as efficiently as possible?
This workshop is perfect for people who have tried and failed or are having problems with an existing composting set-up and are keen to learn how to problem solve at home. We will review some of the basic composting techniques, cover more detailed content, and explain the why and how things work inside your home compost.
